What do you think are LA's Hottest 5 Neighborhoods -

Well 5 hottest means a lot of different things to us here in LA?  Is it literally the hottest areas of LA (Valley and inland) ?  Is it hottest amount of people?  Is it the areas that are bringing the most multiple offers and buyers.

LA weekly teamed up with redfin , and used price per square foot increases recently to arrive at their top 5.  Price per square foot is found by taking the selling price, and dividing it by the square footage of the home.

They came up with 1. Hollywood, 2. Silverlake/Echo Park  3. Downtown 4. Central City 5. Mid-Wilshire

Being from West Los Angeles  my top 5 neighborhoods here on just the Westside. Being that I have a little one and another one on the way, my priorities run with great family friendly neighborhoods.
1. Culver City (Lindberg, Carlson, and Veteran Park areas)
 2. Santa Monica (still in love with Sunkist park after living there with Laurie for two years)
 3. Mar Vista (Great breezes and pockets of some very cute houses.  The community really comes together around some great events throughout the year).
 4. Westwood/Pico (Cheviot hills where I grew up, Rancho park,
 5. Castle Heights/Beverlywood -  Great neighborhood for getting around the city, and some excellent sidewalks to take strolls on.

Work as a Realtor here in Los Angeles, I have had wonderful experiences helping buyers and sellers all over the city.  We have so many great pockets all over this awesome city.

I am curious to hear, What are your top 5 neighborhoods in Los Angeles?
